Vallee de mai is a nature park and UNESCO World Heritage Site on the island of Praslin,made up of the island endemic coco de mer, the largest seeds (double nut seed) of any plant in the world. Also unique to the park is its wildlife, including birds such as the rare Seychelles black parrot.

Fond Ferdinand: The entrance fee is much cheaper than at the Vallée de Mai, and a personal guide is included. Visitors to Fond Ferdinand Nature Reserve should aim to arrive in the morning as there no more tours from about 13.00 onwards. Fond Ferdinand is more larger than Vallée de Mai, an area of 122 hectares, and is even richer of endemic plant and animal species, including roughly as many Coco de Mer palms as the Vallée de Mai with a view point you can enjoy a beautiful view of Praslin itself, and other inner islands of the Seychelles, Curieuse, Sister Island, Coco Island, Round Island, Felicité, La Digue you can spot Frégate, Mahé, and Silhouette, you may even be able to spot Denis Island on the horizon If the weather is clear.
